Prof. Manuel Ferrer (Coordinator)

M. Ferrer graduated in Chemical Sciences by the University of Granada in 1994. In the same year, he began his scientific career at the Institute of Catalysis that belong to CSIC (CSIC-ICP), obtaining his PhD in 1999. In January 2001 he started a postdoctoral stay at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in Germany, after which he returned in October 2003 to the CSIC-ICP with a Ramón y Cajal fellowship. In June 2006 he was appointed Científico Titular.

Has a Degree in Biology from the University of Salamanca (2008). She has a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, UAM (2009), and a PhD in Biology from the same university (2016).

Dr. Laura Fernandez-Lopez

Has a Grade in Biochemistry by the Complutense University of Madrid (2013-2017). Her research career started investigating in short stays at the Institute of Catalysis, CSIC working in the immobilization, stabilization and reactivation of enzymes. She obtained her PhD on March 2024.

Guillermo Cruz

Holds a degree in Biotechnology at the European University of Madrid (UEM) in 2022. In 2023, he earned a Master’s degree in Science and Chemical Technology from the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
