Prof. Manuel Ferrer
Coordinator
M. Ferrer graduated in Chemical Sciences by the University of Granada in 1994. In the same year, he began his scientific career at the Institute of Catalysis that belong to CSIC (CSIC-ICP), obtaining his PhD in 1999. In January 2001 he started a postdoctoral stay at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in Germany, after which he returned in October 2003 to the CSIC-ICP with a Ramón y Cajal fellowship. In June 2006 he was appointed Científico Titular.

Paula Vidal
Post-doc
Has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) in 2018 and has recently (July 2021) completed the Master in Biotechnology at the Autonomous University of Madrid for the academic year 2021/2022.

Laura Fernandez-Lopez
Pre-doc
Has a Grade in Biochemistry by the Complutense University of Madrid (2013-2017). Her research career started investigating in short stays at the Institute of Catalysis, CSIC working in the immobilization, stabilization and reactivation of enzymes.

David Almendral
Holds a degree in Biology, specialising in Clinical and Health Biology from the University of Alcalá de Henares (Spain). His research activity began with an internship at the Center for Biological Research (CIB-CSIC).
