Bayer Technology Services GmbH (BTS, Germany) is a subsidiary of Bayer, a leading global chemical company in a wide number of sectors. BTS is responsible for the development of production processes, including those using Biocatalysis. BTS expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will supply molecules of industrial interest with which to test enzymes of interest, as well as help to test the best enzymes in real processes (Task 5.2).

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (Germany) is a global leader in brands and technologies both in the consumer and industrial sector. The company is organized into three globally operating business units, one being Laundry & Home Care (LHC). The key focus for R&D LHC is on new sustainable raw material like surfactants, polymers and enzymes. Henkel expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will collaborate evaluating the possibility that some of the new enzyme designs can be integrated into real-life leading LHC detergents.

Evonik Operations GmbH belongs to the Evonik Group, which is one of the world’s leading specialty chemicals companies. The business line Care Solutions, as part of the Nutrition & Care division, is one of the leading global suppliers of cosmetic ingredients and concepts for effective skin, hair and body care. Evonik expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will collaborate integrating into its leading cosmetics hyaluronic acid hydrolytic products produced enzymatically with new enzymes designs, and also to evaluate the characteristics of the new products.
Schoeller Textiles AG (Switzerland)
Schoeller Textiles is a textile manufacturer with headquarters in Switzerland. The globally-operating company specializes in the sustainable development and production of innovative textiles and textile technologies, which are leaders in niche markets worldwide. Schoeller expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will collaborate evaluating the possibility that some of the new enzyme designs can be integrated in processes for textile finishing and surface hygienisation of leading textiles.

EUCODIS Bioscience GmbH (Austria)
EUCODIS, a well-established Austrian SME, is an ISO 9001:2015 certified enzyme engineering and manufacturing company providing a portfolio of >50 commercial enzymes for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and other industries. EUCODIS expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will provide support for the sustainable supply of selected project enzymes, and evaluate the possibility of commercialization of these enzymes.

Agroindustrial Kimitec SL (Spain)
Kimitec SL is a global leader interested in leading the new era of biotechnology in the field of agriculture. Kimitec expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter, and will provide support for testing the enzymes to be developed in the project for the enzymatic preparation of monomers with which to produce thermostable composites following principles of the circular bio-economy.

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (Spain)
The BSC (BSC) is a public research centre devoted to enhancing research in many different fields by providing high performance computing (HPC) resources to different communities. It hosts the MareNostrum 4 supercomputer. The Life Sciences Department, working on various aspects of computational biology, expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter, and will provide computational support for enzyme discovery and engineering, and the organization of training technical course in collaboration.

Bangor University (UK)
Bangor University (UK) is interested in the search for enzymes using metagenomic techniques and the possible biotechnological developments derived from them, subject in which he has maintained a close collaboration with Dr. Ferrer’s group in the last 19 years. Bangor University expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will participate in relevant activities where appropriate, including access to bio-resources and mass spectrometry infrastructure, as well as searching, cloning and expression of genes encoding enzymes of interest.

University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (Switzerland)
The R&D activities of School of Life Sciences (HLS) of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) encompasses modern chemical synthesis, analytics and bioanalytics, chemical engineering and nanotechnology. FHNW expresses its interest in the results and support in a Letter and will participate in relevant activities where appropriate, focusing on immobilized biocatalysts and the synthesis of suicide inhibitors for activity metamorphosis; it will support a short stay of CSIC’s personnel.
