Claudia Guerrero
Claudia graduated in Biology at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (2023) doing her bachelor’s thesis on asparagine-mediated thyroid cancer progression. That same year she obtained a grant from the JAE Intro 2023 programme of the CSIC, which she carried out in the Systems Biotechnology group of Professor Manuel Ferrer on ‘Enzymes to mitigate climate change and promote circular bioeconomy: training on experimental and computational technologies’. The following year, she joined Professor Ferrer’s group again with the project ‘Digital Platform for Therapies with Microbiota in Lung Cancer and Antibiotic Resistance’, belonging to the Momentum CSIC programme within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU. She is currently studying a Master degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and will develop her PhD studies with the abovementioned Momentum program.
